On Thursday April 12th units from New Market and Mount Airy found themselves battling two major brush fires in the Woodville Road area. Crews were initially called to Old Bohn Road and Mattie Haines Road at 1531 hours for a large brush fire. UNits arrived to find two plus acres on fire in thick the undergrowth and forest. Rear End Collision Leaves Multiple Patients Trapped

At 1020 hours on Wednesday, April 11, Co.15 along with A179 and A339 were dispatched to a vehicle accident at Green Valley Road and New London Road. RS15, E152, C15-1, and C15-2 responded on the call. Units arrived to find a two vehicle rear-end collision, which is very typical for this intersection. New Market Volunteers Respond to Kitchen Fire

On Sunday February 18th at 1239 hours, units were alerted on Box 25-1 for the house fire in the 11700 block of Weller Road. E152 (FC Nalborczyk), RS15 (Sgt. Chapman), C15-2 (AFC Betts) and C15-3 (AFC Bowles) responded on the call with 12 volunteers. ET254 arrived to find a single story home with smoke showing. Icy Roads Make for Busy Morning for New Market Volunteers

On the morning of Sunday, February 4th, a round of freezing rain and snowy mix caused ice covered roadways in New Market and surrounding areas. Beginning at 1100 hours, numerous collisions were being reported on I-70. In total the New Market Volunteers would respond to six separate collisions in under two hours.
