NMDVFD 30 Guns in 30 Days Drawing

The New Market District Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a huge gun giveaway coming up in November of 2014. We are selling tickets for $25 each, which get you a chance to win a gun each day of the drawing, which runs every day in November. We will be giving away 30 guns. Each ticket can win more than once! Fire in a Condo in the First Due

On Sunday September 28th at 1756 hours units were alerted on Box 15-16 for fire in a condo in the 10200 block of White Pelican Way in Lake Linganore. E152(Capt. Thews), B156(FF Wagaman), U15(FF Smith), A159(FF Rosebrock), and D15(Lt. Conaway) responded on the call with 19 volunteers. Trauma Patient Extricated on I70

Around 3AM, New Market Volunteers were alerted to Interstate-70 in the area of Mussetter Rd, first arriving A159(Kohanyi) went on the scene with multiple vehicles from shoulder to shoulder of westbound Interstate-70 just prior to Mussetter Rd, RE153(Conaway), E152(Williamson) and C15-1(Moe) with a total of 15 volunteers arrived and found one trapped in a passenger car and one car that the occupants ... In the early hours of September 1st, 2014 Co.15 was alerted with the Ambulance, Rescue Squad and Engine for the report of a pedestrian struck, A159(EMT Mercandetti), RE153(LT Williamson), E152(Sgt Hanagan) and D15(LT Conaway) responded with a total of 13 Volunteers. Vehicle Accident with Car on Fire

On Wednesday August 27th at 2334 hours units from New Market and Green Valley were alerted for a vehicle accident near the railroad bridge on Old Bartholows Road. RE153(Lt. Williamson) and C15-1(DFC Moe) responded with 7 volunteers. Chief 15-1 arrived on scene to find a car into the bridge with the car well off.
