One Trapped on Main Street

On Monday March 30th just before 8 pm units were alerted for a vehicle accident on Main Street at Old New Market Road in the Town of New Market. A159 (Lt Sullivan), RE153 (AFC Thews), E152 (Sgt Thews), B156 (Sgt Hanagan), C15-1 (DFC Moe), and D15 (Capt Kennedy) responded on the call with 18 volunteers. First Ever, New Market District Volunteer Fire and Rescue Co Inc Wing Fling to be held on Saturday May 30th, 2015.
Doors Open at 5pm and we serve all you can eat style from 6pm to 8pm. We will be set for 250 guest with 100 of those seats being in a kid friendly alcohol free zone in our Fire Engine Bay. On Tuesday March 23rd at 1910 hours units were alerted for a vehicle overturned with one pinned underneath in the 12300 block of Jesse Smith Road. A159 (FF Mele), RE153 (Sgt. Squad Wagon Extricates One on Urbana Pike

While RE153(FC Nalborczyk) was transferred to United Steam Fire Engine Co.3 they were alerted for a report of a collision with patients unconscious. Upon the arrival of first arriving RE153 they found a multiple car vehicle accident with a patient on the ground and one still trapped in the struck vehicle. Around 0730hrs Box Alarm 15-8 was sounded for a report of a car on fire next to the dwelling.
