New Market Volunteers Hold 30 Guns N 30 Days Fundraiser

Engine Company assist Walkersville Volunteers with Entrapment

On Saturday July 18th around 530PM, Company-15 was alerted for an Illegal Open Burning in the 6800blk of Boyers Mill Rd bringing B156(Prob. Rippeon) and E152(Tech T. Water Rescue at Lake Linganore Dam

On Saturday June 27th at 1834 hours, units were alerted to the Lake Linganore Dam for a swift water rescue. This was reported to be a boat over the dam with persons trapped in swift water. Tractor Trailer Fire at Costco Warehouse

On Thursday June 25th at 0232 hours units from Co. 15 were alerted for a tractor trailer on fire at the Costco Warehouse on Intercoastal Drive. E152(AFC Thews), RE153(FF Heller), B156(Lt. On Monday June 22nd at 1405 hours, Howard County alerted Box Alarm 4-11 for an attached garage on fire in the 17300 block of Frederick Road. RE153(DFRS Capt. On Sunday June 21st at 1226 hours, units from Frederick City and surrounding areas were alerted for a swift water rescue on the Monocacy River in the area of Mococacy Boulevard. On Sunday June 14th just after 1100 hours units from New Market, Green Valley, and Mount Airy were alerted for a vehicle accident on Interstate 70 Eastbound in the area of the 62 mile marker. New Market Assists on Co. 14 House Fire

On Sunday June 14th at 1612 hours units were alerted for a house fire in the 4300 block of Cap Stine Road in Co. 14's first due. First arriving units found a working fire and both the Rapid Intervention Dispatch and Tanker Task Forces were requested. Units were forced into an exterior attack due to a rapid advancing fire. On Friday June 12th, just before 2200 hours, units from New Market and Mount Airy were alerted for a vehicle accident with rollover on Interstate 70 East at the 68 Mile Marker. A159(EMT Telfer), RE153(Sgt Chapman), E152(Chief Nalborczyk), and C15-3(AFC Thews) responded with 14 personnel on the call.
