Volunteers set to host All You Can Eat Country Breakfast with Santa

The New Market District Volunteer Fire Department will host a All You Can Eat Country Breakfast fundraiser on Sunday, December 17th, 2017 from 7am until noon. Bring the entire family, friends and neighbors out for a delicious Breakfast. We have confirmed with the North Pole that Santa will be in attendance.

Volunteers set to host $11K Christmas Bingo

The New Market Volunteers are set to hold a $11,000.00 Christmas Mega Bingo on Friday December 8th, 2017, doors open at 5:00 PM, games start at 6:45 PM. Tickets are $70 in advance and $80 at the door. Dinner and drinks are included. Special games pay $500 and regular games pay $200. Large Jackpot is $1,600 and Small Jackpot is $800. Tip jars and holder will also be available. We hope to see you there!

Rescue Squad and Fire Chief Run 33 House Fire

On Saturday November 4th at 1714 hours Box Alarm 33-02 was alerted for a house fire in the 9700 block of Chestnut Oak Court. E152, A159, and U15 were committed to a medical local in the first due prior to the call, so RS15 was the only unit dispatched. Woods Fire on Bottom Road

Around 1400 hours on Friday, September 20th, units from Carroll Station 1 were dispatched for a brush fire in the 13700 Blk of Bottom road. First arriving Carroll Brush-15 found a fast moving woods fire along a steep hill. A brush Task force and additional units were requested, bringing B156, E152, RS15, and C15. Saving Chaplain White, Annual Physicals a Lifesaver

In early 2012 by way of Fire Chief's General Order the New Market District Volunteer Fire Company started requiring every member to obtain and maintain an annual physical evaluation at CorpOHS of Frederick that was funded by tax payers funds. On Saturday October 14th at 1135 hours, RS15 was alerted to respond along with Mount Airy and Damascus to the 29000 block of Ridge Road for a vehicle collision with entrapment. RS15 (Capt Thews) and C15-3 (AFC Kennedy) responded with 5 volunteers. Co.13 arrived to find a head on collision with multiple patients and one pinned. Volunteers Quickly Extricate Single Patient on I70

Just after 3am on Monday October 2nd, units from New Market and Mt Airy were alerted to Interstate 70 in the area of the 65MM for a reported vehicle accident, car into a skid-loader. A159(EMS Sgt Cribb), RS15(FF3 Williamson), E152(FC Nalborczyk) and D15(LT Bowles) responded with a total of sixteen (16) volunteers. New Market Volunteers awarded Maryland DNR Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant

The New Market Volunteers are proud to announce their recent receipt of a Maryland DNR Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant in the amount of $1,775.00 toward a total project cost of $3,550.00. We intend to use these highly valuable grant funds toward purchasing new fire hose, portable lighting and hand tools for our wildland fire response capabilities, without grants like this many of our yearly projects ... Engine, Squad, and Ambulance Run House Fire in Spring Ridge

On Monday September 25th at 1106 hours, Box 33-01 was alerted for a house fire in the 6300 block of Knollwood Drive in Spring Ridge. E152 (DFRS Capt. Yoder) responded on the initial assignment.
