On Sunday, February 5 at 1921 units from Frederick, Carroll and Montgomery county were alerted for a house fire in the 13100 blk. Of Penn Shop rd. First arriving units found smoke showing from a one story single-family dwelling, ask for the rapid intervention dispatch. Engine 152 third dude deployed a line to side, Charlie, and operated in the basement extinguishing a fire in the staircase. Rescue Squad 15 was tasked with performing a primary search of the structure and was able to locate one dog and rescued it to be reunited with the homeowner. Engine 153 responded on the incident as well and was assigned to the rig group both ambulances from the district also responded and played vital rolls in the rig group.
