Hazmat on Route-75

Firefighter/EMT Greg Lawson, May 12

Around 0845am this morning ( 05-12-2025) unit's were alerted for a truck leaking fuel in the area of Green Valley Rd and Lime Plant Rd.

Unit's arrived to find a truck leaking liquid fertilizer, The truck had around 1400 gallons on board.

Hazmat 33 arrived and were able to control the leak.

Unit's remained on location to assist with clean up and pumping off the remaining liquid into another truck.

Garage fire on Route-75

Firefighter/EMT Greg Lawson, April 21

Around 1530pm ( 04-21-2025) Box alarm 25 was alerted for a garage fire in the 3600Blk of Green valley Rd.

Chief-15 arrived on the scene and advised a 100x50 detached garage with fire though the roof.

Chief-15 took command and the RIT and tanker task force was requested.

Crews worked for several hours to control and overhaul the fire and assist the FM's office.

Around 1000am (04-04-2025) units were dispatched to I-70 at Mussetter Rd for a reported truck on fire.

E-152 arrived to find a tractor-trailer with the trailer on fire.

E-152 made a quick knock of the fire and units began to pack up and clear.

No injuries were reported

W. Main Street Garage Fire

In the early hours of Sunday, March 30th, Company 15 units were alerted for the garage fire in the 100Blk of W. Main Street.

E153 was the first arriving unit to find a fully-involved detached garage. E153 established command and made an initial fire attack on side alpha, protecting the house exposure 10 -15 feet from the alpha-delta corner. First due HOUSE on Woodville Rd

Around 1530pm (03-24-2025) BOX 15-20 was alert for the House on fire in the 5100Blk of Woodville Rd.

Chief-15 arrived and advised he had smoke showing from all sides of the roof with fire showing from the Charlie side and fire in the attic of a single-family home.

Chief-15 assumed the Woodville Rd command and requested the RIT and TTF dispatch.
