Door to Door Photo Fundraiser Returns - Please Support Us!

Our annual door-to-door photo drive fundraiser began on Monday, May 9, 2022 and will run through at least July, 2022. This annual event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and this year it's more important than ever.

New Market Fire Makes a Quick Stop on Building Fire

At 2219 hours New Market D.V.F.C. and Mount Airy V.F.D. were alerted for smoke coming from an unattached large shop building. Chief-15(FC Nalborczyk) established command asked Engine-153(AFC Williamson) to provided a 360 of the structure. On Sunday, March 6, 2022, Company 15 units along with numerous mutual companies were alerted for a house fire in the Pinehurst subdivision of Lake Linganore. En route units were advised of multiple calls and prepared for a working fire. On Thursday, March 10, 2022, Company 15 units were alerted for a vehicle accident at the intersection of Route-144 and Woodville Road. Upon arrival, Frederick Emergency Communications advised responding units that the accident would be one mile north from Route-144 on Woodville Road. On Monday, February 28th, 2022, Companies 25 and 15 along with Truck and Tanker 23 were dispatched for a chicken coop and unattached shed fire. Upon arrival, E251 reported a chicken coop well involved with extension to the 12’ x 20’ shed. Chief 15-2 arrived with E152 and assumed command.
